Divine Alignment

Renewing our minds to align with God’s Word is a process. But God’s thoughts and words are truly the stable, secure, and unchanging truths that create a firm foundation in our hearts and turn away fear.

“I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.“ (Psalms 16:8-9)

How do we “set” the Lord before us? It is a deliberate choice – we choose to give God His rightful place in our lives and hearts. Jesus is in charge of my heart, my life, my future, my family – I choose to give Him preeminence in my life. Therefore, I am unmovable.

There is power in His holy, eternal word, the Bible. We are simply realigning our soul to conform to the truth of the Bible. Like a wobbly tire bumped out of alignment through navigating bumps, holes, and other road hazards, our souls also need a Divine alignment!

“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.”
‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭43:5)
